You may have seen the post about the Perry county kitties that we rescued. We decided to give them names from the Wizard of Oz because they have crossed “Over the rainbow” to a better life. This is Garland an adorable little girl that was literally starving when she came to us, she was flea infested and ridden with ear mites, she along with the others had a terrible URI. Garland is now eating and doing well, she has gained ¾ of a pound but still very thin, she has food avaialbe 24 hours a day now so she can continue to gain. She purrs when held and loves attention and she loves the other kittens, Garland would love a home with lots of love, food and water forever. She can be adopted but must be spayed before she can leave.

Her ID # is KC 735; the adoption fee is $75.00 which includes a negative Felv and FIV test, distemper shots, worm meds and flea treatment plus her spay. We also offer a microchip for only $25.00 more. If you choose to adopt 2 Loving Care kitties the fee is only $130.00, two kitties are always better than one, the microchip fee for two is $35.00. We cannot hold kittens, its first come first pick.

Garland now gaining weight and beautiful

Garland when she first arrived, thin and weak, the pointed face shows starvation.

Still thin but putting muscle on which she didn’t have. I don’t know how she stood or walked.
